I love my dog, but I didn’t want to keep spending tons of money on pet accessories. After six years of spending over $200 on cheap $10-$20 mats that failed to protect my hardwood floors, I was ready for something that actually worked. My dog spills water everywhere, and we’ve dealt with mold and cracked wood because of it. After seeing the Dorai Dog Stone pop up on Instagram, I decided it was time to give it a try, especially since repairing hardwood floors is far more expensive than investing in something that could prevent water damage.
I’ve tried several floor mats for water bowls, but none have worked as well as this one. I usually have to move the bowl to the center of the mat to catch the spills, but with the Dorai Dog Stone, I can keep the bowl to the side, and the stone instantly absorbs any water that hits it. On regular rubber mats, water eventually pools and spills over, but this one prevents that entirely by soaking up the water before it even reaches the floor.
I’m no longer constantly wiping, drying, or emptying the mat. If you’re a new pet parent or have an indoor pet that spills water, I highly recommend this. It’s worth the investment to protect your flooring. It also looks beautiful, unlike the eye sore of a rubber one.
Lastly, DORAI accidentally sent me the wrong item but they resolved it quickly through their customer service line and didn’t even make me go through the trouble of having to give up my time to return the wrong thing. They just sent me the correct item to make it right. Very pleased!
