In the event that your stone bathroom mat gets stained, it can be cleaned in two ways. For light stains or scuffs, use the included sand paper to gently rub off any marks. We recommend doing this in a well ventilated area. For more extreme stains, small amounts of bleach or hydrogen peroxide will do the trick. You can view our full Care and Cleaning guide here.

Due to its porous nature, marble and other natural stones are sensitive and prone to discoloration or staining, especially when not sealed. We do not guarantee Dorai products like our kitchen and bathroom Sink Caddy on these surfaces. For more information click here.

Perfect solution

I have a young cat who loves to attack my thick cotton bath mats and works at killing them. They were a tripping hazard for me at night because I was never sure where their wrinkled bodies would be. I am at an age where tripping hazards need to be eliminated. Plus they were very difficult and expensive to launder. Enter my Dorai Dual Bathstone. I do need to steer around it at night in the dark, but at least I always know where it will be. I like its room-temperature warmth and the way it dries my feet right off. It is good to follow the directions and rinse it off when you first get it.

I very much like the stone (double sized, 19 x 23)

but NOT the cream color. In normal use it always shows dirty footprints. Yes I could attempt to clean it - but as it also straddles our toilet it'd be a never ending endeavor. Really wish I had opted for the gray.
