A large drying mat should be washed regularly. It ultimately depends on usage, but we recommend cleaning it at least once a week. Since they’re made from diatomaceous earth, our mats are quick-drying, which ensures that you can keep them free from bacteria and odors with minimal effort.

In the event that your mat gets stained, it can be cleaned in two ways. For light stains or scuffs, use the included sand paper to gently rub off any marks. Sloppy Dog

My dog is a messy drinker and was getting water all over my wood floor. The new Dorai dog dishes and mat is helping the probably. I was worried the dishes would be too small for the amount of food my Labrador needs but it works fine. Water bowl could be a little larger but is working out. The sink caddy is also keeping the area around the sink dryer and less messy. Happy with my purchase.
